Walking across solidified lava flows and climbing the volcanic cones of Lanzarote. Immerse yourself in the fascinating world of volcanoes to discover lava canals, volcanic tunnels, cold lava seas and spectacular craters. This guided hiking tour is a unique journey through a vast open-air rock museum. The “Los Volcanes Natural Park” was heavily shaped by the volcanic eruptions of 1730-36 and 1824. Thanks to the arid climate, on the island, this surreal volcanic landscape as all the bizarre rock formations have been remarkably preserved over the years. Witness the slow but yet persistent resurgence of life upon the lava fields of the island. With this hiking or walking tour in Lanzarote you will gain a deeper understanding of the tremendous natural forces at work on our extraordinary planet.

We did a nice hike of 7.5 km up and around the volcanoes in the national park. The guide tells you all about the origins of the island, the changes over time, the consequences for the population and leaves no question unanswered. The lava tunnels were also first class and interesting

Very nice hike around the volcanoes with a passionate and trilingual guide (Spanish, English, French). Breathtaking landscapes and very interesting explanations of the volcanoes and geology of the island. The guide was patient and attentive.

The trip is easy for peoples that are familiar with hiking. We were only 10 in the group which feels absolute not that touristic crowded trip as they normally are. Our guide showed us plants and explained a lot about the nature. I simply loved it.
